Each grain of Chaulai (Rajgira) is carefully hand-sorted to remove impurities. Then roasted slowly on a low flame in a heavy-bottomed iron pan — the old-fashioned way. No bulk roasting, no industrial ovens.

It started in my mother's kitchen in 2020. During the lockdown, when everything felt uncertain, she went back to what she knew best — making laddoos from her grandmother's recipe. Chaulai, gud, and desi ghee. Nothing more.

The neighbours began asking for them. Then their families. Then strangers across the city. What started as a way to keep tradition alive became something bigger — a small business built entirely on the trust that every home-cook understands: when you make food for someone with love, they can taste the difference.

We still make everything the same way. In small batches. By hand. With the same ingredients. Because some things shouldn't change.
